As the algocen came in the wind gusts were strong so the ship struggled for about 3 and a half miles out in the lake to line up to come in the canale, as you can see it was extremely close to hitting the piers

They finaly pushed forward and came in the canale, it wasn't and easy job for the Captain thats for sure

The Algocen heading for General Mills A to load wheat, the general mills dock is just to the right of the Algocens front spar pole

The builders plaque on the Algocen

One of many ring buoys on the Algocen, this one is located on the pilot house deck

The flags the Algocen sports, the very top flag is the American Flag, the far right flag is Seaway Marine Transport
and the Left is Algoma Central

A Nice sunset made the ships forward cabins look creamy in color instead if white

One of my favorite pictures i have ever taken, a nice ship with nice lighting. When you look at this ship, you wonder why on earth would anybody sell it.
